NEOGEN launches COMPANION™ Foaming Hand Soap

LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 9, 2020 — NEOGEN Corporation announced today that it has launched a foaming antibacterial hand soap that will perfectly complement the company’s existing line of personal and environmental biosecurity products.

NEOGEN’s new COMPANION™ Foaming Antibacterial Hand Soap kills 99.9% of harmful bacteria, yet has a light, fresh scent, and will not dry out skin with frequent use. The new hand soap, which is intended for use with water, joins NEOGEN’s COMPANION product line, which also features a popular waterless hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and hard, nonporous surface disinfectant.   

 “Especially now that we have all been doing our best to stem the spread of COVID-19, our COMPANION products have been extremely popular, especially our hand sanitizer and wipes. COMPANION Foaming Antibacterial Hand Soap’s active ingredient is benzalkonium chloride (0.13%), with a formulation that is also free of phthalate and silicone. The product is available in 16.9 ounce containers featuring hand pumps, suitable for use at the sink, and one gallon refill-sized containers. The hand soap is also compatible for use with NEOGEN’s Foam Dispenser Unit — a touchless automatic dispenser that is available for use with a convenient floor stand.
